This groundbreaking research was conducted by a team of software engineers and professional poker players from Hand2Note (click to learn more). They gathered hands played on livestreams and compiled them into a massive database. Each hand was carefully reviewed three times to ensure top-level accuracy. A professional poker coach then analyzed the data with custom tools to develop these powerful cheat sheets.

With a sample size of over 2 million live hands, this data is exceptionally reliable. Since hole cards are revealed, it offers more detailed insights than a typical dataset where hole cards remain hidden. We also identified key trends that align with online poker trends, allowing us to use parts of our 100 million hand online database to fill in any gaps.

The live database includes hands from high stakes poker clubs like Hustler Casino, Poker at the Lodge, King’s Resort, Pokerstars Live, World Poker Tour, Bally Live Poker, Triton Poker, SunBet Poker Tour, PokerGO, and Champions Live Poker.

While some clubs played looser and others tighter, the overall trends balanced out. The patterns we uncovered are highly significant and provide major strategic insights that can be applied to nearly any live cash game.
